Its primary spiritual potency is related to a mysterious 42-letter Divine name encoded within it, to which the Talmud ascribes extraordinary powers.

Together, we will learn how to make this powerful prayer part of our own practices to achieve and integrate expanded consciousness.

Rabbi Ruth Gan Kagan is the founder and spiritual leader of Nava Tehila, a Jewish Renewal community in Jerusalem, known for its ecstatic prayer and chant services. A dynamic and innovative teacher of Torah, Ruth teaches Kabbalah and Hassidut in Israel and internationally. Together with her teacher, Rabbi Zalman Shachter-Shalomi, she co-authored the Hebrew book “Jewish Renewal - Integrating Heart and World.” She serves as a mentor and spiritual director for rabbis, rabbinic students, and spiritual seekers.
