The Power of
Community & Integration
As psychedelics become more available and encounter psychedelics in casual, conscious, and therapeutic settings, Jews from all backgrounds, generations, and identities are seeking support in making meaning of their psychedelic experiences. Because of this great need, Shefa is dedicated to making integration a core pillar of our work. Whether people are looking to make sense of their experience through a particularly Jewish lens, ground them in Jewish wisdom and practice, help process Jewish-specific traumas, or simply connect with other Jews, Shefa provides resources and spaces to individuals and communities who are sincerely dedicated to this work.
Join the Jewish Entheogenic Society, a worldwide network of psychedelically curious Jews to explore the meeting points between entheogenic practice, Jewish traditions, ideas, and identities - to share ideas and questions, and to foster local meetups and gatherings.
“Integration is a process in which a person revisits and actively engages in making sense of, working through, translating, and processing the content of their psychedelic experience. Through intentional effort and supportive practices, this process allows one to gradually capture and incorporate the emergent lessons and insights into their lives, thus moving toward greater balance and wholeness, both internally (mind, body, and spirit) and externally (lifestyle, social relations, and the natural world).” (1)”
