Embodied Freedom: A Passover Journey to Expansion (In-Person in NY)

$55.00
Past Program

Together, we'll celebrate the festival of Pesach with somatic practice rooted in Jewish wisdom. Rising Rabbi Ariel Hendelman will lead us in transformational chant to connect our bodies and spirits to this potent season, and Shefa’s Sarah Persitz will guide us in a holotropic breath session. We’ll discover and embody the journey from constriction to expansion, and integrate our experience in community. Small bites will be provided.

Let's remember the miracle of this moment together and embody the freedom that is being offered to us in this season.

Thursday, April 13th at Gaia Nomaya in Brooklyn

510 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, NY

Doors: 6:00 p.m.

Program begins promptly at 6:30 p.m.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, bringing a water bottle and journal.

Food offered will be vegan/vegetarian, but not certified kosher.

If you are unable to afford the ticket price but would like to come to this event, please contact us.

**This style of breath involves a rapid breathing technique and is not suitable for individuals who are pregnant. Additional caution should be taken for those with high blood pressure. An alternative suggestion will be made for those folks, offering a more meditative embodied experience.
