In Jewish tradition, the altar (mizbeach) stood at the heart of the Temple—as the meeting place of heaven and earth, a site of atonement, offering, blessing, and divine intimacy. In this workshop, we’ll explore five sacred functions of the altar found throughout Jewish ancestral wisdom and learn to construct or enhance our own. Participants will be guided to create or imagine a personal altar that reflects their own healing, longing, and connection to the sacred. Together, we’ll practice grounding intention in sacred space—whether in psychedelic ceremony, everyday ritual, or special moments. Come build your altar: a place of grace, offering, and return.
This session will be 75 minutes, including an optional 15 minutes breakout room/discussion section at the end.
