Community Resources

Shefa is building a robust library of resources for Jewish people navigating psychedelic experiences, from insightful research to spiritual texts to important safety tools.

This work grew from what we discovered when Shefa first launched: it was hard to locate resources at the intersection of psychedelics and Judaism. Our original research confirms what we have been hearing in conversations around the world: Jewish communities have been slow to support those who have found a way back to their Jewishness through psychedelic medicine.

Our online platform for exploring, connecting with, and supporting the growing Jewish psychedelic ecosystem. Below are some key resources you can find on Kli.

Safety and Integration Library

Shefa is developing a safety and integration library built for people navigating psychedelic terrain on their own or within their own communities.

Developed in partnership with leading organizations in psychedelic safety and harm reduction, and grounded in Jewish wisdom tradition, it includes:

❋ Shefa’s Preparation & Integration Facilitator Directory

Practical safety information for people preparing for or processing psychedelic experiences

❋ Crisis referral pathways

Clear, vetted resources for people in aftermath of a difficult experience

❋ Harm reduction guides

A space to locate qualified integration guides recommended by Shefa. These guides are familiar with our process and all have experience and training at the intersection of psychedelics and Judaism.

❋ Preparation and integration framework

Guidance rooted in Jewish practice and ancestral wisdom

❋ Indigenous wisdom resources

Selected and curated in relationship with source communities

❋ Jewish wisdom resources

Texts, teachings, and ritual frameworks for each stage of the psychedelic journey

Trip Siddur — Jewish
Psychedelic Learning
and Practice

The Trip Siddur is Shefa's original resource for Jewish psychedelic practice, guiding participants through the full arc of preparation, exploration, and integration. It brings together original texts, kavanot (intentions), a self-study journal, and integration frameworks into a single companion for the work – before, during, and after.

In preparation, the Trip Siddur offers language and practices for setting intention, naming what you're carrying into the experience, and situating your journey within Jewish time and text. During the experience itself, it provides touchstones – short readings and prompts – that participants and facilitators can draw on inside the container. During integration, often the most under-supported part of psychedelic work, the Trip Siddur offers structured reflection and a framework for carrying insight back into daily and communal life, rather than letting it fade.

The Trip Siddur draws on Lurianic Kabbalah, Hasidic teachings, and the Jewish liturgical tradition, translated into a form that can hold an experience many of those texts were never explicitly written for, and speak to it nevertheless.
